Trainers are advised that in accordance with strengthened OHS regulations it will be a requirement for any persons entering the track on ARM trial days to wear hi visibility clothing commencing from 1st November 2015.
The Club will have hi vis vests available for use on arm trial days however trainers are encouraged to purchase their own for use wherever they trial.
Trainers will also note new track rules regarding the entering of the track on trial day with the rules including the following points:
- No person is allowed to enter the “Lure Exclusion Zone” (the lower half of the track) while the lure is running faster than walking pace
- All personnel on the track while the lure system is running must wear high visibility clothing. This includes trainers and handlers
- Under no circumstances whatsoever is a person to stand within the mat area in front of start boxes while they are active
