Bolero to defend Bendigo Cup title

Aston Bolero is one step closer to defending his 2016 Bendigo Cup title on Sunday in the third 2017 Triple M Bendigo Cup heat.

Last year Aston Bolero and Unlawful Entry battled pre-race favourtism before the Group Two country cup, but it was Aston Bolero’s time to shine in what was his first country cup win with Unlawful Entry finishing third.

On Sunday in the third heat Aston Bolero and Unlawful Entry will go head-to-head with only one of the talented duo able to make it through to next weeks Bendigo Cup.

If Aston Bolero is to make it through, he will be one step closer to becoming the only greyhound to win back-to-back Bendigo Cups.

But on Sunday from 2:09pm  all eyes will be on Bendigo for the eight talent packed heats which promises to be a fantastic day of greyhound racing.
