The draft Code of Practice released by the Victorian State Government this week for consultation contains serious implications for the future of greyhound racing in Victoria. There is a necessity for participants to obtain a copy of the draft Code (the Club has copies available), and for as many participants as possible to lodge submissions prior to 5pm Monday August 14.
To assist participants with limited or no access to a computer and who need assistance in preparing and lodging submissions the BGRA Manager, Troy Harley, will be available to assist where possible. Participants wishing to take up the offer of assistance will need to contact the Club to secure a time slot so that the appropriate time is allocated for the preparation of the submission.
The Club has put aside the following days (and times) for submission assistance:
Tuesday July 18 – 10am to 3pm
Wednesday July 19 – 10am to 7pm
Friday July 21 – 10am to 7pm
Saturday July 22 – 10am – 2pm
Monday July 24 – 10am to 5pm
Tuesday July 25 – 10am to 3pm
Wednesday July 26 – 10am to 7pm
Thursday July 27 – 10am to 5pm
Friday July 28 – 10am to 7pm
Depending on demand further dates may be added later.
