Submissions still a must for Code of Practice review

Many would now be aware that as a result of criticism and concerns being raised in mainstream media, social media, political level and to GRV the Government has provided the opportunity for the industry to provide feedback through restricted sessions at a number of venues in the next week.

There is no doubt that this is a result of the greyhound industry providing constructive commentary and most importantly from showing solidarity for our common cause. As shown in NSW, a united approach by the industry and sticking together can achieve the desired results.

While not everyone will be afforded the opportunity to be involved in the specific sessions, the GOTBA will also be holding open workshops at various clubs after circulating detailed draft submissions for participant comment and everybody is being afforded the chance to have their voice heard via the submission process.

All participants are strongly urged to lodge their submission or take up the various offers of assistance from Clubs, GOTBA and GRV to help lodge the submissions.
